At the age of 45, I finally took the plunge into the world of writing, turning my back on a 20-year career in law to follow my dream.

​Three years later, I am nearing the end of my second creative writing course and almost have enough short stories to publish a collection.

 

Even more excitingly, I am now embarking on my first novel, Island Retreat, which combines two of my passions, Food and Travel.

​

My other passion is, of course, fiction. Powerful, permanent and versatile, it can transport us into the lives and worlds of others and gives a voice to those unable to speak.
